Did you know that lemons are a popular ingredient in recipes for all kinds of foods? Everything from lemon meringue pie to shrimp in a lemony sauce—you couldn't make it without lemons. So grab an apron, wash your hands, and whip up a lemony treat.
(Remember: Always ask a grownup for permission before you begin to cook. Make sure a grownup supervises your cooking activity. And always cleanup after you're done!)

A Lemonade Treat on a Melting Day

Ingredients
lemonade mix
6 plastic cups
6 plastic spoons
(you will also need scissors)
Directions
- Make the lemonade according to the directions on the mix.
- Pour the lemonade into 6 cups and put a plastic spoon in each cup.
- Put the cups (with the spoons) in the freezer and leave them there for several hours.
- When the lemonade is frozen, take the cups out of the freezer. Ask an adult to help you cut the plastic cup off with the scissors.
- Enjoy your delicious lemonade pop.
