The New England Independent Booksellers Association (NEIBA) listed The Lemonade War at #8 on their Indie/NEIBA Bestseller List in the cateogry of Children's Interest Titles for the week ended July 4, 2010.

Publishers Weekly listed the best-selling children's books for 2009, and The Lemonade War ranked #31 in the category of Front List Paperback sales. The paperback version of the book sold 188,919 copies in 2009.

The Lemonade War has been placed on the following state reader's choice award lists: Grand Canyon Reader's Award (Arizona), Colorado Children's Book Award, Sunshine State Readers Award (Florida), Golden Sower Award (Nebraska), Nene Award (Hawaii), Rhode Island Children's Book Award, South Carolina Children and Junior Book Award, Virginia Reader's Choice Award, Iowa Children's Choice Award, Massachusetts Children's Book Award, Young Hoosier Award (Indiana), Sasquatch Reader Award (Washington), and Maud Hart Lovelace Award (Minnesota).

The Lemonade War has been awarded a Massachusetts Book Honor.

The Great Horned Toad List from the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District in Houston includes The Lemonade War.

USA Today features The Lemonade War in its "Books to Cure Summer Boredom" Roundup.

Fit Girls, a non-profit organization that promotes healthy bodies, healthy minds, and healthy hearts in grade-four and grade-five girls, has chosen The Lemonade War as its very first Fit Lit "Great Books for Great Girls" Pick. You can read about it here.
