We want this site to be a fun, safe place that kids can visit and parents and teachers can trust. To that end, we have created this policy, which outlines our promises to you and the terms of use for this site.

• In most cases, the information we collect (such as your first name, your home state, and your age) is non-personal. When we ask for your email address, it is only so that you can send an ecard, submit a story, or enter a contest. We use your email for the single purpose you designate. We do not store, share or post your email address-ever.
• When you submit a story, recipe or math problem, you are authorizing us to post your words on our site. We also have the right to edit and format the text as we feel necessary. The only identifying information we will ever post is your first name, age, and home state.
• If you send us an email with a question or comment, we will write back one time using your email address. We do not store, share or post your email address-ever.
• If you use our site to send an electronic postcard to a friend, we will ask for your first name and e-mail address. We will also ask for the name and e-mail address of the person to whom you're sending the postcard. We will use this information only to send the postcard, and we will delete it when the postcard or message is sent.
• If you would like to submit a photo for use on our website, you must send us, via regular mail, a signed Parental Consent Form before you submit the photo. We will not accept any electronically-submitted Parental Consent Forms.
• The lemonadewar.com site does not set any cookies on your computer.
• Your family's use of this site is conditioned upon your acceptance of the terms outlined in this policy. Because this policy might change in the future, you should read it regularly to make sure you remain in agreement with it.
